Services / fees and insurance

We strive to offer the highest quality of service possible at the most reasonable cost to you.

Insurance
In order to have the freedom to provide health care that is science driven and not reimbursement driven, we have made the choice to have an “out- of -network” relationship with health insurance companies. We will provide you with properly coded invoices that you may submit to your insurer for reimbursement. Some insurance plans will cover the cost of office visits according to their out-of-network provider schedule. Please contact your provider for more details on coverage.

Insurance coverage for lab tests, prescriptions and supplements
We will provide you with properly coded invoices that you may submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. It is not unusual for supplements, custom compounded prescriptions, and specialized testing to not be covered. They may be covered under a Flex spending account.

Payment options:

Full fee-for-service payment is due at the time services are rendered.
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard/Visa or debit cards and health care savings credit or debit cards.

Ultimately, all charges incurred are your responsibility. Please note that you will be charged for telephone consultations, letters, and any documentation you ask for us to complete for you. There are no charges for calls to schedule sessions or conduct brief (less than 5 minutes) items of business.

Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee plus the original amount of the check and are due 10 days from the date you are contacted regarding the problem.  Failure to pay the total amount due may result in dismissal from the practice and must be paid by cash.
